Georgia's fashion style was originally going to be quite girly so that she would stand out but after taking the first lot of photos we decided it looked like 'Georgia and the three boys' rather than a band of four.
This style is shown in the first image below:
So for the second lot of photos we chose to dress her more similar to the boys, this consisted of colours rather than products of clothing. The boys, Steve, Lewis and Will, were all asked to wear dark coloured jeans/trousers and either a t-shirt or flannel shirt with a zip-up jacket over the top of this item. So to match Georgia as close as we could to the collection of boys items, we asked her to wear black denim shorts, black tights and a top of her choice, so she chose a multi-coloured vest with a black PVC style jacket.
This is also shown in the image below:
Both these images and more can be found on my current Flickr account.
For inspiration for styling we looked at many other bands and finally came across someone with a slightly similar fashion sense and style to our only girl band member, Georgia. The artist who we took inspiration from is called Alice Glass, she is part of the duo band Crystal Castles. Her hair cut is short and pristine, as is Georgia's, and her fashion style is not very girly - exactly how we have attempted to make Georgia look. Here are a collection of images that are useful to see how we used Alice Glass to create Georgia's 'look'.
